Lonza opens new research center in Israel

Switzerland-based Lonza, a leader in life sciences, has opened today its R&D center in Israel, named Israeli Collaborative Innovation Center (CIC), located in Haifa’s Life Science Park. The center currently employs 15 researchers, focusing on molecular biology and molecular genetics.

Lonza’s center will cooperate with Chaim Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer, one of the most prestigious in the world for CAR-T therapies, specifically for manufacturing techniques.
