Private equities step forward to acquire Nestlé Skin Health

The Sunday Times today has reported that Nestlé’s Skin Health division has attracted interest from private equity firms CVC Capital Partners, Carlyle Group and TPG.

Nestlé’s asset marketing skin health products has been put up for sale due to pressure by investor Third Point Management, that requested to restructure the group as France-based L’Oréal sought to acquire the asset. The Switzerland-based group could raise as much as $6.9bn from the sale, analysts say.
