Sanofi France’s head Guillaume Leroy yesterday assembled the three French trade unions and informed them that the group intends to cut as many as 670 jobs in France before 2020.
Cuts will mainly affect IT Service employees, but also HR and Finance Department. The plan is part of the group reorganization plan called “Horizon 2020”, developed by Sanofi’s management led by CEO Brandicourt.
Leroy stated at the meeting that Sanofi will continue investing in France, focusing on new sectors such as bioproduction and biotechnology, with 250 new jobs and €700m investments.
