Unilever ready to acquire Horlick from GSK for about $4bn

Britain-based Unilever and GlaxoSmithKline are reportedly in exclusive talks now over a sale of India-based Holrlick–a subsidiary of GlaxoSmithKline’s–for an approximate $4bn. An acquisition of Horlick is reportedly consistent with Unilever’s latest strategic moves; moreover, it would increase its presence in the Indian market. The companies that have shown interest for Horlick include Nestlé and Coca-Cola. GSK’s shares have remained unaltered, similarly to Unilever’s.
