Upsurge in cholera cases in blighted Yemen

Al Jazeera has reported that the number of cholera cases in Yemen (Hodeidah region) has tripled following the offensive by Saudi Arabian/UAE troops.  The outbreak has recently exceeded 1,300 cases, 30% of which are children, multiple sources have reported. The dramatic increase is mainly due to soldiers having destroyed aqueducts and clean water supply systems.

Importantly, international healthcare organizations have reported another cholera outbreak in Zimbabwe.
